Now That’s What I Call Music

This is it.  The Daddy of them all.  I think that must always have been the intention to carry on with the series after this initial dabble – it’s so easy with hindsight of course.

Anyway, this being 1983 the compilation was released on the twin format of a 2 vinyl records and the ever dependable (double) personal cassette.  CD’s not around at the time blah blah blah.  I think that this sort of thing is what the personal cassette player had been crying out for.  Vinyl has a much more luxurious vibe – and was certainly not portable.
