Yes indeed! Steve Foster is a hippie hippie headband!  Or something like that (thus spake Harry Enfield’s Stavros).

Having been knocked out of the FA Cup a fortnight earlier, Luton Town went all the way in the Littlewoods Cup Final at Wembley as they defeated Arsenal 3-2.

Having opened the scoring on 13 minutes, Stein, B then spent the next hour or so of playing time hoping that his would be the winning goal.  Then on 71 minutes Martin Hayes went and spoiled his good mood.  Minutes later and Alan Smith had really put a dampener on things.  But no sweat!  Luton were determined that this was finally (after more than a century of trying) going to be their year.

After Andy Dibble’s excellent save from Nigel Winterburn’s penalty, Danny Wilson levelled things up with a Brooking-esque header with just over 5 minutes to go.  With the Wembley crowd anticipating extra-time, up popped  Stein, B to score what proved to be the winner in the very last minute.
