Ah, the weekend.  What joy!  Liverpool won 2-1 v Southampton and (ha ha) Man Utd lost 1-0 v QPR.  It was pretty cold and windy today and I received the wages for my paper round – all £6.70 of them.  I managed to start my final English essay, on the short story Snow Goose by the American author Paul Gallico.  I can’t remember anything about the story – in fact I have had to go to wikipedia to find out that it’s about the British retreat from Dunkirk in WWII.  Ah well, it must really have grabbed me.

Unfortunately, TV was dead boring and I went to bed at eleven o’clock.
